Recently, Craig was selected as one of six composers for the ARTZenter Emerging Composer Completion Grant. He has since been selected as one of three finalists to edit and complete his proposed piece for the San Francisco Contemporary Music Players for a June 12, 2024 performance. Craig made his conducting debut on March 25, 2024, successfully leading a large chamber ensemble in the performance of his work, Rescue Me, at the University of Miami's Gusman Concert Hall. The performance of the work can be viewed here.
On November 2-4, 2023, Craig was in attendance at the SCI Region V Conference at Ohio University, where his composition for jazz orchestra, The Death of Dumuzi, was performed with great conviction by the university jazz orchestra on November 4.
Early in 2023, Craig was named a winner of the Presser Foundation Graduate Music Award, a grant that will be utilized to produce, record, and release Craig's debut album featuring the works Fragile and Rescue Me.
